Introducing ICIAP 2015, the 18th edition of the biannual International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing.
ICIAP 2015 is the 18th edition of a series of conferences organized biennially by the Italian Member Society (GIRPR) of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The conference covers both classic and most recent trends in computer vision, pattern recognition and image processing, addressing both theoretical and applicative aspects, with particular emphasis (but not limited) to the following topics:
• Video Analysis & Understanding
• Multiview Geometry and 3D Computer Vision
• Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning
• Image Analysis, Detection and Recognition
• Shape Analysis and Modeling
• Biomedical Applications
Agreements are in progress for the organization of two journal special issues associated to the conference. To this end, selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the Computer Vision and Image Understanding and Pattern Recognition journals for special issues dedicated to ICIAP 2015.
